Vocabulary Words for the Montessori Practical Life and Sensorial Materials for Language Development

Increase your child's vocabulary with the following list of vocabulary words for the Montessori Practical Life and Sensorial materials at the pre-reading stage, for ages three and up.


Combing hair. Language: comb, messy, wastebasket, scalp

Putting on Coat. Language: coat, floor, collar, armholes, sleeves

Button Frame. Language: button frame, pincher fingers, button, buttonhole, flaps, unfold, fold

Tying Frame. Language: tying frame, strings, bow, tie, untie, loops

Language: front, pitcher, handle, pasta, beans, pour, slowly, tray, jug, lentils, rice, or green peas, containers, tapioca, sesame seeds, water, receptacles, one half, different, funnel...
